The appointment
Jio-bp has appointed Shilpa Surve as Head of Human Resources, adding an experienced HR leader to its people leadership team. Based in Mumbai, Surve brings extensive experience across talent management, leadership development, learning and development, employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.
She joins Jio-bp after serving as Vice President – Human Resources at Knowledge Realty Trust, where she had been working since July 2025.

Shilpa Surve has built her HR career across several organisations and industries, taking on leadership roles covering both strategic and operational aspects of human resources.
Before joining Jio-bp, she was Vice President – Human Resources at Knowledge Realty Trust. Prior to that, she held multiple HR leadership positions at Nucleus Office Parks, a Blackstone company, including Vice President – HR and General Manager – Talent Management.
Earlier in her career, Surve worked with HT Media as Assistant General Manager. She also spent several years with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), where she worked across areas including HR business partnering, learning and development and corporate learning.
Her earlier professional experience also includes roles at HDIL and Nirmal Bang Securities, giving her exposure to different business environments and people functions.
