Anil Mohanty elevated to Group CHRO
Falcon Marine Exports Limited has elevated Anil Mohanty to the role of Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective June 1, 2026.
Mohanty, who previously served as Group Head of Human Resources at the company, brings more than three decades of experience across human resources, people strategy and organisational transformation.
The elevation expands his leadership mandate as Falcon Marine Exports Limited continues to strengthen its people practices and organisational capabilities.
From Group HR Head to Group CHRO
Mohanty joined Falcon in 2025 as Group HR Head and has since been involved in the Group’s HR transformation and digitalisation journey.
In his expanded role as Group CHRO, Mohanty will focus on strengthening people strategy, supporting organisational growth and fostering a culture centred on excellence and inclusivity.
The internal elevation also reflects leadership continuity at Falcon, with the company expanding the mandate of an HR leader already closely involved in its organisational transformation.
Over three decades of HR leadership experience
Mohanty brings more than 30 years of HR experience spanning multiple industries and organisations.
Before joining Falcon, he served as Chief People Officer at DN Homes. Earlier, he headed People & Culture at Medikabazaar, where his work included developing a technology-enabled HR ecosystem and supporting change-management initiatives during a period of growth.
His career has also included leadership assignments with Reliance Jio, Idea Cellular and Tata Teleservices, giving him extensive exposure to large-scale workforce management, organisational change and business-aligned HR strategy.
At Reliance Jio, Mohanty held key HR leadership roles, including responsibilities across regional operations and the rural business vertical.
People transformation remains a key priority
Mohanty’s elevation comes as the role of the CHRO continues to expand beyond traditional human-resource management into areas including organisational transformation, digitalisation, leadership development and long-term workforce strategy.
His experience across telecom, healthcare and other sectors positions him to further integrate Falcon’s people agenda with its broader growth plans.
Falcon Marine Exports is an established Indian aquaculture and seafood company with operations spanning production, processing and exports, particularly in the shrimp segment.
HireRoute Take
Anil Mohanty’s elevation from Group HR Head to Group CHRO is significant because it represents an internal leadership progression rather than an external appointment.
For Falcon, the move provides continuity to its ongoing HR transformation while expanding Mohanty’s mandate at the Group level.
It also reflects a broader trend in senior HR leadership, where CHROs are increasingly expected to connect talent, culture, organisational design and digital transformation directly with business growth.
